Title CDL class A or B . HAZMAT preferred (TRAVELER - COLORADO STATE) Description Essential Functions: TRAVELING in Colorado: 2 weeks at a time away from home base of Grand Juction, Colorado. Working with the Pavement Marking team to paint the roadways. The job functions are not just driving but working outside of the truck with a team to successfully paint or stripe the highways and roadways. We will train you for your duties. CDL class A driver with HAZMAT & Tanker endorsements = $30 per hour CDL class A driver no endorsements = $28 per hour CDL class B driver no endorsements = $26 per hour We do provide a hotel room and $30 per day per diem, when you are working out of the Grand Junction Colorado area. We also provide the same housing / per diem for training in Bluffdale, Utah. Must have a valid CDL class A with Hazmat endorsement for Epoxy truck. Will use mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, vehicle, and diesel mechanics. In this position you will work overtime, nights and weekends as required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, sit and bend for long durations. Out of town work for 2 weeks at a time. This is road work construction, in a construction environment. Position Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have a valid CDL class A or B driver's license and a good driving record. Mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, vehicle, and diesel mechanics. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand, sit and bend for long durations. Must be able to work in a team environment and perform daily tasks required for the job. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required. Current valid CDL class A or B driver's License. Must be able to drive, sit, and stand for extended periods of time and in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to receive, understand, and communicate specific instructions. Must be able to successfully pass background check and DOT drug screen. Must have 2 years of driving experience. HAZMAT certification is required for an Epoxy Truck CDL Driver. Must be able to read and write to complete paperwork, comply with road signs, and have knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulation. Must be willing to work in a primarily outdoor environment and travel.
