ABOUT YOU As a Temporary On Call Snow Removal / Heavy Equipment Operator (Bargaining Unit, Local Union No. 25) at Worcester Regional Airport, you are a resilient and dependable snowplow driver partnering with us on our mission of keeping our airport safe and operational, no matter the weather. In this critical role, you are the guardian of runways, roadways, and walkways, ensuring they remain clear and secure for travelers. Flexibility is your forte, as you are on call around the clock, including holidays and weekends. While prior snow removal experience is a plus, your unwavering commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to adapt in challenging conditions are equally valued. With this important responsibility, you are an integral member of a team that ensures safe skies for all. What you will do: Perform snow removal and maintenance tasks (plowing, shoveling, scraping, sanding) on walkways, roadways, runways, and taxiways. Access and utilize plowing equipment provided by Massport, conveniently located at the airport. WHAT YOU OFFER Flexible availability to work in various weather conditions, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays. Current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
