THE OPPORTUNITY Galvion has a unique opportunity for an accomplished professional to join our team as Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead our Annual Budget, drive our Monthly Reporting and Forecasting activities, and keep senior leadership and the Board of Directors abreast of the organization's financial status. This role can be based in Portsmouth, NH or Marlborough, MA. It reports directly to our Chief Financial Officer. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING In this critical and highly visible role, you will build and scale the financial reporting and analytical processes, simplifying them to ensure accessibility of usable business information for the Executive team. In addition, you will provide financial justification and decision support for operational strategies, tactics, metrics, and analysis that influence the profitability of the business. YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO Thoroughly analyze data, produce logical scenario analyses and insights, produce accurate forecasts, and make sound recommendations to senior level executives. Collaborate with the CFO, finance team, and broader leadership team to formulate a medium to long-term financial plan. Partner with department heads to inform, plan, and manage their budgets and actual expenses. Ensure data integrity and consistency in data across the company. Develop the FP&A team members as the business grows. Lead and execute on an efficient budgeting and forecasting processes which while capturing the inputs of various stakeholders drive for achieving company goals. Manage the capital expenditure planning and reporting process for ROI / DCF analysis, approvals and tracking of it. Design, develop, and operate a highly robust automated self-service financial reporting and KPI system to provide management with forecast insights, performance metrics and financial analytics for improved organizational decision-making. Translate and interpret financial results into operational recommendations to improve EBITDA and accelerate the business. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and meaningful and progressive related experience. Hands-on approach to perform deep dives into details. Strong financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills Produce and deliver communications and presentations for executive and board level consumption. Consolidate large and varied sets of financial data into concise business summaries. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills around detailed financial data Ability to partner with leadership around strategic objectives. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and complex multi-product and multi-delivery environment. Demonstrated financial leadership skills and expertise with an emphasis on translating financial insights into operational recommendations.
