PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES This individual will be the backbone to Galvion's revenue team and customer base. Specifically, the Sales Support Specialist will assist Galvion in meeting sales objectives and strategies by providing key support such as processing customer orders, answering external and internal product questions, communicate with operations, marketing, logistics and finance and ensuring the Galvion's external and internal customer needs are met. SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES This position will be responsible for the following, with emphasis on specific accounts or customer service areas as assigned by the supervisor: Interface for all customer telephone calls and emails, proactively selling Galvion's solutions Perform sales support activities including, but not limited to, providing quotations, sales materials (datasheets, test reports, reports, etc), freight estimates, lead times and processing of sample requests Coordinate and manage support tools such as, Databases, Educational Tools, Trial and Evaluation programs and more Understanding applicable standards and requirements for military helmets and power management Provide support in government tenders and Request for Proposals Coordinate order fulfillment process to include system processing of standard and custom orders whether for end users, distributors, or marketing events across all product lines Oversee small and medium sized sales projects and deliveries Recognize and adhere to domestic and international export regulations as needed Prepare export documentation as needed Prepare documentation for customer invoicing Assist with maintaining accounts receivable for all customers Cross trained to support additional elements within the sales and marketing teams Participate in ongoing efforts to establish processes and best practices in conjunction with Customer Service Supervisor, utilize the Company's Corrective Action Process to determine and correct process or product issues Other work duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements Associates degree business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred (international customer service a plus). Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Must be able to learn and adapt to new ERP systems quickly Working knowledge of international shipping regulations preferred Keen ability to analyze problems, gathers pertinent data, and recognize/recommend solutions. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills with strict attention to detail. Cooperative attitude with team-oriented disposition plus excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be extremely flexible to meet changing environments of a thriving business Ability to work additional hours, as needed. Maintain professionalism and good working relationships with others. Military experience is a plus.
