We acknowledge the importance of augmenting our evolving team with additional skill sets to effectively navigate this digital landscape and internal processes involving ERP and reporting systems.The primary responsibilities of the business analyst will include orchestrating workshops and facilitating productive discussions to capture and comprehend business requirements. These insights will be transformed into comprehensive documentation outlining application journeys and user stories. Such artifacts will empower our architecture and solutions team to design and construct appropriate solutions.The business analyst will collaborate closely with project teams and business stakeholders as a trusted advisor. By understanding genuine business needs, the analyst will enable informed decision-making regarding priorities and focus areas for our transformative programs. Together, we aspire to create game-changing initiatives that drive our organization forward.ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information concisely, logically, and understandably in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business processes and contribute to building solutions for the requirements.Document business requirements(BRD) and align business requirements with an agreed technology target stateWork with architects and delivery managers to identify high-level requirements and epics in the project intake stagPlan and run workshops during project discovery phases to ensure process changes, technology requirements, user journeys, and stories are identified, articulated, documented, agreed and prioritized by the business teamsWork with the delivery team, 3rd party technology partners, and other consultancies to ensure the user journeys, stories, and requirements are understood and implemented appropriately Be a driving force behind the continued evolution of New Era's digital transformation, a champion of change, and an inspirational team member that elevates your peers and colleagues by example and leadershipAble to coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing along with other stakeholders and ensure timely and quality deliveriesResolves complex problems or transactions requiring expertise to interpret policies, guidelines, or processes into technology solutionsManages one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products and is considered analytical or procedural 'expert' representing a unit or team on a cross-function process or project deliverables.Keeps all sensitive matters confidentialOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPreferred knowledge in Agile methodologies working in a globally distributed environmentStrong communication skills, which include: the ability to convey complex technical concepts to company stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather essential information from internal and external partnersMaster the art of understanding how technology and process change can help facilitate business growth and effectively communicate this value proposition to business users and stakeholders.Experience and aptitude to use continuous improvement and innovation methods like service design and design thinking to come up with creative and value-driving outcomesAn aptitude for visual presentation, proficient at articulating ideas and user journeys through sketches, diagramsStructured and analytical in problem-solving while demonstrating great judgment and empathy with the stakeholders and peers we work withAbility to balance keeping things simple without losing sight of important detailAbility to work as an individual or in a team environment Exceptional service orientation, responsiveness, and follow-through. Education and ExperienceA bachelor's degree in technology or business; Relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be consideredThree (3) to Five (5) years of experience, ideally in the consumer product or apparel industry, is preferred.Experience in the e-commerce ecosystem is a must.Overall experience working with an ERP/OMS or retail POS System (ideally SAP ECC) and its respective reporting tools enabling end-to-end supply chain and financial processes is a bonusExperience working with SaaS and API is a bonusExperience working with a formal project management methodology would be a bonusTravel Requirement Project-based; up to 20% in the region and overseasThe salary range for this posted position is $75,000- $85,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York.
