Description Hours: 40 Schedule: This position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs. Pay: Starting Pay: $29.92 per hour Pay Range: $26.47 - $33.37 per hour Purpose: In support of ESL's great workplace efforts, the Employee Experience Coordinator is instrumental in shaping a positive and engaging workplace environment. This position is responsible for planning and executing internal activities, events, and communications that enhance the employee experience, increase engagement, and keep employees informed and connected. Accountabilities: Lead, support, and/or communicate employee engagement efforts. Support all aspects of ESL's Employee Recognition Program. Plan, promote, and coordinate campaigns and employee events; serve as the liaison with sponsoring organizations as needed. Plan, promote, and deliver employee appreciation activities, promotions, and/or giveaways as identified throughout the year to enhance the employee experience. Write timely, accurate, and engaging articles to highlight or promote employee engagement activities and events. Coordinate department iVisits. Perform basic photography of employee events and activities as needed; assist with other photo and video needs as required. Plan, implement, and promote employee events that help drive engagement. Plan, execute, and attend employee events throughout the year. Build and maintain relationships with vendors (restaurant managers, caterers, and other service providers); facilitate contracts for review by our Legal team. Assemble and manage volunteers (ESL employees) for events; collaborate with other departments (or teams) as needed. Maintain accurate annual calendar, records, and budget of events; evaluate success of events and prepare annual event summary. Develop and propose new event ideas that align with our organizational goals and enhance employee engagement. Develop knowledge & skills to provide ever-increasing value to ESL. Stay up to date with industry trends. Is flexible and adaptable; provides back-up support to Intranet Specialist and/or other departments (write, edit, and publish content on ESLtoday/Intranet) as needed. Qualifications: Associate degree or 2 years of directly related experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in communications, PR, or event planning (including internship or volunteer experience) Technically savvy and comfortable learning new technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus Meticulous organizational skills, with strong attention to detail; written communication that connects with a variety of audiences Strong verbal and interpersonal skills; willing to occasionally speak in front of groups Takes initiative and creatively executes on deliverables Willing to work extended (flexible) hours for events and activities as needed Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment using sound judgement with minimal supervision Physical ability to lift 40 lbs, move, and stand for up to four hours at a time Vehicle and valid driver's license for job-related tasks and activities Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care Demonstrates alignment with ESL's Core Values, mission, vision, and purpose to help our community thrive and prosper We're committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
