Oversees daily operations of office.2. Train new employees.3. Posts daily assignment schedules.4. Ensure that employees are properly dressed for duty.5. Monitors intrusion alarms and systems.6. Operates video monitors and systems.7. Monitors closed-circuit systems and alarms.8. Changes tapes on the closed-circuit TV system.9. Coordinates arrivals and greeting of guests and vendors.10. Operates hand access geometry access system.11. Conducts query of events as directed by Shift Supervisor or Account Manager.12. Writes reports of criminal or other suspicious activities concerning Company property, personnel or operations.13. Advises Manager of any emergency or security issue14. Provides daily activity reports of reported incidents and inconsistencies to American Airlines Corp security.15. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.16. Assigns activities of staff officers and ensures completion of tasks.17. Inventory keys, radios and other equipment and issue keys to the contractor.18. Advises management team of any emergency or security incident for appropriate resolution.19. Document security related inquiries from tenants, employees and the general public.Basic QualificationsPre-requisites: Must be a local (in-state) resident. Valid In-State Driver's License. Must have valid driver's license. Successfully pass pre-employment screening and background check. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. Must complete SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.Experience: Must be open minded and ready to work as part of a detail-oriented team.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service skills. Strong work ethic. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Relevant supervisory experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment. Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner. Working Conditions Work Schedule: Various Part Time Shifts You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.Work Environment: Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles and use radio equipment. Employees work inside the Delta Air Line corporate offices. Utilizes a personal computer. May sit for long periods. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations.Physical Demands/Requirements: Sense of Sound/Hearing - Must be able to communicate by radio, phone, and other devices. The incumbent is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
