POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Finance Business Process and Reporting will play a critical role in the transformation of the Plan to Forecast end-to-end process and its underlying data model through the design and governance of future state, enterprise wide, end-to-end businesses processes, data model and operating model. Working closely with key stakeholders and vendors, this person will lead cross-functional teams of subject matter experts to document current state business processes, design desired future state, and the changes required to achieve it to enable key capabilities required to deliver agile and nimble financial planning process, management reporting and analytics. This role also will establish framework and govern the business process and data to maintain its integrity, consistency, and accuracy. Serves as a subject matter expert and governance leader on end-to-end plan to Forecast process, supporting financial planning, reporting and analytical processes, data and solutions. Documents and provides analysis of existing financial planning processes. Gathers input from business users to identify inefficiencies and pain points in existing processes. Identifies opportunities to standardize, lean and/or automate processes based on best practices and business objectives. Provides insight into the potential impacts of changes on upstream and downstream processes. Develops detailed documentation and process blueprints for future state design - including business rules and workflows - supporting the optimization of current processes and the implementation of new, scalable processes across technology solutions and teams. Works with multiple business process owners, ensuring alignment across business processes, data structure and values, and sequencing of process improvements supporting customer and partner relationship management. Owns, maintains, and governs Finance master data and other support data models consistent with standardized business processes, technology solutions and single source of truth principle. Own and drive the structure, definition, security and processing of financial and related reports, metrics, and analytical toolsets (Dashboard) Provide business leadership to implement and sustain financial planning and reporting solution (projects and ongoing support) Coordinates and leads user acceptance testing to validate process design and mitigate risk during rollout. Communicates feedback and input to process owners, key stakeholders, and technical teams, making recommendations for adjustments or acceptance as appropriate. Creates documentation and training that supports change management and adoption of business processes during and post-deployment. Provides support and gathers feedback from users on an on-going basis, elevating opportunities for enhancements or improvements as needed. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES â— Lead a team of analysts responsible for master data management and reporting development and analysis, ad-hoc data report requests, and recurring data reports. â— Oversee the design, production and maintenance of dashboards and reports related to areas such as production, planning, profitability, inventory, purchasing, and accounting. COMPETENCIES Proven experience leading lean process improvement projects and design of enterprise business processes. 5+ years domain experience in Finance, including experience in Financial Planning and Analytics, including data analytics, and reporting solutions and platforms. Experience in data and process modeling, management, and governance to report, analyze and improve business outcomes. Strong written and oral communication skills, including development of presentations, detailed documentation, and training. Ability to work in cross-functional teams, workshops, and meetings to gather information, define solutions and produce implementation ready deliverables. Ability to understand and maintain a view of the big picture while creating detailed, operational level processes, workflows, and requirements. Experience working across multiple functions to develop and maintain financial planning processes and solutions that integrates with contributing upstream and downstream processes and systems. Technology experience, including working in data management, IT project implementation and solution governance. Project management and coordination including managing schedules, deliverables, facilitating collaboration across team members and on-time delivery. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE â— Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA a plus â— 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A including projects and data analytics experience. COMPUTER SKILLS â— Financial, Sales, and Business analytics / reporting required. â— Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferred. â— Microsoft Office Suite proficiency PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
