Position Overview Benson Woodworking Company , a design-build company located in Walpole, New Hampshire, seeks an entry-level FileMaker Assistant Developer to join our team . This person will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications within the FileMaker platform. This role requires a desire to learn database management and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, non-exempt role and is an in-person position. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the FileMaker Developer to support the development, design, and implementation of custom FileMaker solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of Benson Woodworking Company. Support the management of existing FileMaker databases by writing code. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Integrate FileMaker solutions with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and communication. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for FileMaker applications, including system architecture, workflows, and user guides. Support the IM (Information Management) team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to FileMaker applications promptly. Qualifications Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Some knowledge of database design & scripting. Experience with software integration, API utilization, and data exchange between different platforms. Familiarity with other relevant technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 365 software. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience in developing and maintaining custom applications within the FileMaker platform. FileMaker Certification(s). Familiarity with SQL. Experience in a construction or architectural environment a plus.
