Description Pay Range: $58,000-$70,000 per year COMMUNITY BASED ROLE Duties and Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessment (FBAs) and develop Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) for individuals in the Intensive Behavior Services program Work closely with parents and/or caregivers, clinical experts and other service providers as needed Adhere to all regulatory requirements for FBAs, BSPs and other documentations Adapt BSPs to support the individual in a new environment as needed Provide training on the BSP to family members, caregivers and/or others providing services to the individual Create effective data systems, to be used in homes and community-based settings, to support the monitoring of the BSP Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of the BSP on a regular basis by analyzing data Support individuals and their families/caregivers when transitioning out of the Intensive Behavior Services program Establish and maintain effective communication with school/day program to develop, coordinate and maintain integration between program, home and community settings Support the implementation of evidence-based practices Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of Behavior Analysis Maintain accurate and current records for each individual on caseload, including appropriate data collection and administrative procedures in compliance with OPWDD Other duties may be assigned Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology or related field NYS Licensure in Behavior Analysis Valid NYS Driver's License Ability to read, write, speak and understand English including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals Preferred Qualifications Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) 3+ years of experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Support Plans Work Environment Family homes, certified group homes, certified foster care homes and in various venues out in the community Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
