Linde Engineering North America LLCProject Information Management SpecialistTonawanda, NY, United States req18448What you will enjoy doingYou will be responsible for managing and controlling all project information like documents and engineering data related activities in a projectYou will also be responsible for the overall integrity of all plant information (e.g., engineering numbering systems, materials, contractors, vendors, facilities, asset register)Support and coordinate with engineers about document and data management and strengthen the awareness of the project team regarding the importance of reliable project information for the projectFurther, you are expected to understand and communicate the contractual and IM requirements to all internal and external stakeholdersDefine, implement, and execute project procedures for document and engineering data managementYou will manage the identification, specification, collection, and handover of project document and data deliverablesResponsible for managing data interfaces within the internal EPC applications cluster, data repositories, and the external interfaces to partners and customers, as appropriateAdditionally, you will prepare and deliver engineering data management reports like Construction Key Quantities, Material Take-Offs, Quantity Cost Matrix, supplier document review statusPrepare reports on the status of vendor data and documentation as well as analyzing the Engineering Data Warehouse to prepare MTO reports and other deliverablesYou will monitor and verify man-hour consumption against deliverables completed and identify changes that impact the required budgetWhat makes you greatYou have earned an Associates degree in Information Management, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or similarBachelor's degree in engineering or computer science highly desirable and an added advantageYou have 3 years' experience with engineering and data/information workflow in an EPC environmentProficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative proceduresYou possess a strong understanding of Electronic Document Management Systems (preferably Documentum), modern database and information systemFamiliarity with MS Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBI), and SharePoint a plusStrong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as effective analytical and problem-solving skillsWhy you will love working with usLinde Engineering Americas (LEA) is a member of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc.
