NY, United States req18509What you will enjoy doingIn this role, you will collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to identify materials required for the projects and repairsYou will work with procurement team to prioritize parts and ensure timely delivery of materials according to project milestonesAdditionally, you will coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materialsYou also will verify delivery receipts and ensure that materials match specifications and quantities outlined in project documentsConducting regular inventory audits to monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and updating records is part of your roleYou will be responsible for coordinating storage, handling, and security of materials to prevent loss or damageFurther, you will generate regular reports on material status, including procurement progress, delivery schedules, and inventory levelsYou will communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on material availability, issues, and resolutionIn this role, you will collaborate with quality control to conduct inspections and testing as necessary to verify material/part complianceAdditionally, you will address any non-conformance issues promptly by coordinating with suppliers, project teams and quality departmentIn this role you will act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to materials, fostering positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractorsYou also will work with global operation sites to facilitate the return of repairs, repair quoting, PO receiving, and invoicingWhat makes you greatYou have a strong focus on Quality and Safety in coordinating materials and equipmentYou have experience dealing with rotating equipment parts, supply chains, and manufacturing shopsAdditionally, you have excellent communication and team interaction skillsThe proven ability to work independently as well as lead/participate on teams is required for this roleYou are a self-starter who effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal supervisionYou have proven experience using computers and standard software packages (MS Office, E-Mail etc.)Why you will love working with usLinde Engineering Americas (LEA) is a member of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc.
