Examples of Duties Serves as a program navigator for WIOA Title 2 programs; prepares materials for student registration; prepares course materials for instructors; conducts inventory of equipment and supplies; serves as the primary point of contact for potential Title 2 participants for information, direction, and assistance through program registration; responds to potential participants inquiries (in English and Spanish) providing information via telephone, e-mail, face to face meetings, meetings, presentations, and information sessions; creates and implements communication with potential participants, referral agencies, non-profit agencies, schools, and businesses; handles paperwork required for participant registration; maintains accurate documentation, tracks participant information including assessments and attendance hours, proctors testing and assessments; uses College's systems to update participant information, register participants; uses Laces Data system to update student information, registration and monitor attendance hours; follows up on students who have stopped attending class; represents Atlantic Cape and Workforce Development at recruitment events, career fairs, job fairs, expos, and community events; performs related duties as assigned. Typical Qualifications Associate's degree or 3-5 years' experience working with the public; must be proficient in reading, writing, listening and speaking Latin American Spanish, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to work with databases; excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to deliver presentations to small and large audiences. Supplemental Information Note: This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location. Paid sick leave in accordance with NJ Sick Leave Law Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP) ( Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension (. Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
