Thank you for considering ProgynyThe Patient Care Advocate reports into the Manager of Member Services. The ideal candidate is a proactive person, with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. The candidate will be responsible for using their excellent customer relations and patient care experience to handle conversations with members. The Patient Care Advocate role consists of onboarding new members to the Progyny benefit and interacting with existing members to assist them with ideal use of the Progyny benefit based on their specific journey. This is a highly administrative position that involves strong attention to detail, prioritization, and organization. This role is a call center position and the Patient Care Advocate will interact with a high-volume of members telephonically and through e-mail.What you will do...Own the Progyny member relationship for specific clients including but not limited to; onboarding, scheduling appointments, providing educational resources, etc.Provide ongoing concierge service for a high volume of members telephonically as well as via email.Address member inquiries and proactively research high quality solutions to present.Work cross-functionally with internal teams to adequately handle member escalations and inquiriesServe as a liaison between members and clinics, including scheduling appointmentsMaintain member satisfaction by timely addressing member questions via call or emailAbout you...Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate accurately and conciselyAbility to work independently and demonstrate good judgmentKnowledge of fertility industry and patient procedures requiredHighly organized, quick learner, with ability to multitask and prioritize work effectivelyAbility to remain calm when faced with challengesAbility to make and implement tough decisionsStrong communication and presentations skills.Prior experience in insurance or call center environmentsPrior experience in fertilityNursing degree and active nursing license, preferredActive license as a clinical social worker, doula, or fertility consultant, preferredStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work and collaboratively within a team environment.Ability to effectively manage evolving priorities, multiple projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbout Progyny:Progynyis a transformative fertility, family building and women's health benefits solution, trusted by the nation's leading employers, health plans and benefits purchasers.
