Outreach Worker Springfield Job Category: Direct Service Requisition Number: OUTRE004984 Full-Time Rate: $20 USD per hour Adult Mental Health - Springfield Springfield, MA 01109, USA Job Details Description The Outreach Worker is an integral member of Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS), a multi-disciplinary outreach program, providing direct services to program participants that live independently in the community. Responsibilities include supporting clients' activities of daily living, administering medications as needed, advocating for individuals' within various community settings, and providing opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery. Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus. Pay: $20 an hour Requirements Experience in providing outreach services and/or working with adults who have mental health and substance use challenges strongly preferred; strong interpersonal skills; empathy for others; demonstrated commitment to serving those with significant needs; ability to work well within a team model and independently. Computer skills necessary. Must have a vehicle for work use and current driver's license; ability to complete medication administration training. All candidates must complete and pass background record screening process.
