Education Associate Association Management Chicago, IL Apply Description As an entry-levelEducation Associate, you will serve as the front-line contact to non-profit volunteers and members from our healthcare associations who work to improve the quality of healthcare by establishing best practices and conducting leading edge research. Your primary focus will be support for the education team, customer service, new and revised product implementation, webinars, certification preparation management and other educational activities as needed. What you will do: Build and sustain strong member relations through attentive detail in handling member requests and volunteer interaction Provide administrative and project support to the client and staff team, including database maintenance and reporting Assist with the preparation of conferences, board meetings & seminars Create and facilitate webinars with content related to client industries Provide support for new product and educational program creation Manage Certification Preparation process Collaborate with various Smithbucklin service units including marketing, accounting, IT, and convention to provide the best client service possible Serve as staff liaison to various committees and task forces This Role Might Be for You If You demonstrate exceptional customer service skills You exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail You have strong skills in time management and organization You display the ability to work independently and as part of a team You have previous experience managing databases and updating websites You demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills You have the ability to travel 5% Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution or equivalent experience 0-1 year of relevant professional experience Preferred Qualifications Practical agency or nonprofit experience Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Where Do You Fit?Whether you are just beginning your career or are a mid- or senior-level professional, working at Smithbucklin will offer you countless opportunities to develop transferable skills, acquire meaningful knowledge and gain rich experiences at an accelerated pace.
