The Role: As an American Repair Center Technician I you will provide troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments for electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Work to provide customers with fastest turnaround time and uncompromised quality repairs. And have the opportunity to contribute to an organization committed to and focused on improving product and process quality through continuous improvement, Lean, other problem-solving techniques. Job Responsibilities: Operate production line machinery; manual, automatic and/or semi-automatic; and computers. Perform repairs to print heads and machines while assuring to build quality into you work and meet the daily standards. Complete daily production logs and required reporting. Clean and maintain work area daily and support 6'S & Lean activities. May generate and be exposed to, collect, move, use, store hazardous waste or prepare document(s) related to hazardous waste management. Job Requirements: High school diploma / GED. Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English. Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting/diagnostic ability. Soldering skills preferred, but not required. Mechanical knowledge following detailed instructions to Assemble and repair print heads in a fast paced environment. Strong hand eye coordination and dexterity with ability to handle very small components and use small hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wrenches, screw drivers, tweezers, and pliers; automatic and semi-automatic repair tools and equipment. Good vision and ability to distinguish between colors. Frequent standing, sitting, kneeling, bending and /or lifting.
