There is an immediate need to hire for the Fall 2024 semester for the English Department. Location Utica, NY Application Deadline Full consideration by: Open Until Filled No Major Responsibilities Adjunct Lecturer of English: To teach ENG 101 - Written Communication I and ENG 102 - Written Communication II on campus. ENG 101 - Written Communication I Students will practice organizing, composing, and revising expository writing with purpose, audience, and context in mind. Students will practice reading critically. Students will practice identifying and using conventions of academic English. ENG 102 - Written Communication II Students will practice planning, developing, and executing an extended written research project. Students will practice evaluating, synthesizing, documenting, and integrating sources. Students will be introduced to discipline-specific conventions in order to organize, compose, and revise research papers. Driving Responsibilities Travel Supervises Education Required Bachelor's Certification Required Education & Experience Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's Degree or higher required. College Teaching Experience is preferred.
