Applications to be submitted by September 30, 2024Compensation Grade:P16Compensation Details:Minimum: $57,247.00 - Maximum: $57,247.00 AnnuallyDepartment(OPH) WADS - Wadsworth CenterJob Description:ResponsibilitiesHealth Research Inc. is seeking an Assistant Health Program Administrator (AHPA) to provide administrative and programmatic support to the Wadsworth Center's New Scotland Ave Administration Unit. The AHPA will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to reviewing and entering State purchase requests into ePMX and SFS, processing HRI purchasing transactions, reviewing travel packages for completeness and accuracy, gathering documentation and serve as hiring manager for personnel recruitments, preparing State waiver requests. Additional duties include updating tracking systems, assisting to draft correspondence and prepare reports, providing technical assistance to program staff, performing follow-up, responding to inquiries and other appropriate related duties as assigned.This position will be part of a dynamic team serving the Wadsworth Center's mission in the New York State Department of Health's efforts to protect and promote the health of New York's citizens. Come be a part of Science in the Pursuit of HealthMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of administrative, financial and/or other related experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and three years of such experience; OR five years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Workday. Knowledge of recruiting. Working knowledge of purchasing guidelines and/or purchasing systems. Experience processing travel requests. Experience developing and/or revising clerical processes.Conditions of EmploymentGrant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location.
