POSITION SUMMARY The Accountant / AP Supervisor will perform general accounting functions within the department. This position will supervise an accounts payable staff of 3 people. This role will also be responsible for reconciliation of various general ledger accounts as well as maintenance/reconciliation of subsidiary accounting systems. The position will provide support to enhance business processes and will perform analysis and analytical review. This accountant/supervisor will also be responsible for review of entry/import activity into the Ellucian Colleague system and other accounting duties including oversight of the processing of invoices and payments by the accounts payable team. Key Responsibilities: Oversight of the Accounts Payable team Demonstratable interpersonal communication skills, Ability to work collaboratively with others, deal with conflicting points of view, and build rapport with internal and external contacts.
