Join our team and grow with usPitchBook's Product Manager II works collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams to execute on the department's product roadmap. This role plays an active role in defining strategy and prioritizing our roadmap. The Product Manager II will mentor new and junior Product Managers on PitchBook's product and the Product Management processes at PitchBook.Primary Job Responsibilities:Validate client needs, pain points, and business opportunities through ongoing user researchBe a SME for your product area(s) and resource for team members across PitchBookActively define roadmap prioritization and create business cases for new opportunitiesCreate detailed functional specifications from prioritized requirementsCommunicate requirements and technical details to stakeholders, including engineering teamsWork collaboratively with key stakeholders and project teams to execute your product roadmapContinuously improve our external and internal deliverables and operational processesBuild strategy for integration of existing Data Technology tools with our Public Equity operations teamGive compelling presentations to stakeholders on projects and visionBe a resource for junior team members on the Product Management processSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviorsParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requestedSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, or related field3+ years of product management experience, or 2+ years of product management experience with 1+ years of experience fulfilling product functions within the financial market intelligence/data platform domainA proven record of shipping high impact data solutions and workflow toolsBias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goalsExperience gathering user-centric requirements and writing functional specification documentsSuperior attention to detail including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong audience awarenessStrong understanding of the Public Equity domainExperience collaborating with data gathering/operations teamsDemonstrate application of artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions to improve process efficiency. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.Working Conditions:We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day.
