Position Overview:As an Entry-Level CMM Calibration Technician (Field Tech), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and accuracy of CMM equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about mechanics and precision engineering to gain hands-on experience in the field of metrology. Responsibilities: Perform routine calibration procedures on CMM equipment following established protocols and procedures. Conduct troubleshooting and basic repairs on CMM systems to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize measurement tools and software to verify the accuracy and precision of CMM measurements. Document calibration results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of calibration activities. Assist senior technicians in conducting advanced calibration tasks and equipment maintenance as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude Valid Driver's License Ability to travel 70% of time (multiple overnights)
