Sales Associate & Proposal Developer (Manager Level) - R00023874 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: ERM CVS is growing, and we are seeking a Sales Associate & Proposal Developer to increase our sales pipeline, identify additional leads aligned with our strategic objectives, enabling faster entry into emerging service areas, speed our proposal delivery, and increase our conversion rate. Working directly with Partners and independently, you will generate additional opportunities by networking internally, and enabling impactful client engagement opportunities, develop and prepare high-impact, high conversion rate, proposals. Your role in the team will enable our partners to spend more time with clients and expand our positive impact on the transparency of information reported publicly by our clients. The successful candidate will have internal drive to succeed, will be results focused, confident, service-oriented, willing to learn, and have the ability to generate sales opportunities and proposals / initiatives aligned with strategy. The successful candidate will drive sales both independently and aside our diverse team of senior sellers and Partners. Responsibilities: Strategic engagement: Engage internal partner network to raise awareness of services, creating client engagement opportunities resulting in increased sales. Opportunity identification and validation against business objectives: Actively tracks RFP websites and supplier portals (e.g., Ariba) to identify new bid opportunities aligned with our strategic objectives, manage proposal development for relevant opportunities, and follow-through to outcome. Initiate sales engagement at the direction of Partners, to increase the speed to market in each of our strategic growth areas. Managing the sales pipeline from opportunity identification through win. Improve and increase speed for quality proposal delivery: Work with Business Director to create, maintain, and manage a database of visually compelling marketing material, project experience, staff resumes, and other information required for proposal delivery (e.g., templates). Augment and improve library of near-final proposal components for current and new services areas/geographies. Lead routine proposal preparation: Lead proposal preparation and delivery, including the development and collection of materials (CVs, project information), graphics, content review, and final document assembly for Partner review. Manage complex Requests for Proposal: Work with senior stakeholders to develop formal response plans and drive execution (schedule, team assignments, files) for large and complex RFPs (REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL). Collaborate with senior sellers to set themes, strategies, outlines, budgets, and work schedules. Client pitch presentations and webinar preparation: Increase sales through developing a compelling content; facilitate presentation strategy meetings and business development meetings. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university or demonstrated equivalent. Prior experience with sales/marketing in a professional services firm working for corporate clients (understanding of independent third-party assurance a plus). Experience with proposal preparation and management. Experience aligning sales/marketing to strategic business development activities. Proficiency with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Basic knowledge of design tools preferred: Graphics, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign). Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Experience with Salesforce or another equivalent CRM database preferred. Strong organizational, writing/researching/editing, and time management skills. Behavioural Competencies: Amiable and able to form authentic connections with others quickly.
