Location: Southfield, MI What you'll do In this role within Strategic Finance, the Data Analyst, within the Technology and Data team, will work with financial and operational data to create insightful reports and dashboards, enabling business decision-making and supporting our global strategy. The incumbent will work with team members to deliver solutions that meet the needs of internal functions and leadership of the Firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, data transformation, modeling, and visualizations with an appetite for continuous learning and development. The Strategic Finance Data Analyst is a full-time role reporting to the Strategic Finance Technology and Data Director and located in Southfield, MI. Paid relocation is not available. Translate business requirements into clear, accurate and actionable design/implementation plans. Assist in creating models, specifications, workflows and diagrams that contributes to the successful delivery of data analytics solutions and technology. Work with team members to develop semantic models, analytical models, reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI and other tools in alignment to business requirements. Collaborate with IT and other functions in the firm throughout the development lifecycle. Provide support of existing solutions and services provided by the Strategic Finance Data and Technology team. Test and validate deliverables for completeness and data accuracy. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with business functions and team members to determine root cause and propose appropriate functional solutions. What You'll Need Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Data Science, Statistics or related field preferred but may consider relevant work experience in lieu of education. Minimum of one (1) year relevant work/internship experience. Familiarity with reports and dashboards development; experience in Power BI is preferred. Exposure to relational and non-relational databases. Experience with SQL, R and Python is preferred. Experience with financial or operational data analysis is preferred. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet delivery commitments while maintaining accuracy. Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers.
