Product Application and Support Technician We are now hiring for this manufacturer that builds and tests LCD modules here in Spokane Valley, WA The Product Application and Support Technician provides application support to internal and external users and is often the go-to person for customer technical support. -- apply now to join this team that works hard but has fun while doing so Compensation for the Product Application and Support Technician $54,000 - $60,000 depending on experience Benefit package -- Medical, Dental, IRA, PTO, and more Responsibilities of the Product Application and Support Technician Answers telephone 'hot line' and Internet-based inquiries from customers regarding company products Analyzes problems to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action. Recommends solutions to customer application questions/needs. Maintains log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to product development Maintains a high standard of customer service while following company policies, procedures and warranty guidelines. Prepares schedules and coordinates activities with production to ensure documentation is current and aligned with Company policies and procedures regarding controlled documentation. Writes production documentation (work instructions) for both standard and semi-custom products. Confers with engineering staff and/or consult specifications to define production test procedures. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan for new or modifications to existing projects. Follows and improves area processes. Requirements of the Product Application and Support Technician Degree or Certification in electronic technology related field or equivalent related experience or training. Ability to articulate technical ideas in a clear & concise manner. Ability to use and understand devices used for testing, calibrating, diagnosing, and repairing of the various products and test fixtures within the company. Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability. Strong communication, organization, writing, documentation, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
