This is a union position. TheManager, Data Systemsworks in tandem with Associate Director, Data Systems to build scalable data models, cleans and transforms data, and deploys data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that providekey insights to the organization for fundraising success.The Manager, Data Systems will work directly with the Senior Director, Finance and Operations, the Assistant Director of Prospect Management, as well as the Manager, Data Systems toensure that prospect and donor data is properly maintained and coded within our current CRM to produce improved reports highlighting fundraising KPIs and performance metrics that will help inform development leaders' strategies. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Five years of database administration/management or development experience preferred. Experience working in non-profit educational or cultural organizations desirable. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Strong grasp of technology in this position with capacity to identify opportunities for improved data quality, reduced data entry errors, manage cross-departmental collaboration, and provide strategic guidance on CRM/Database best practices. Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Experience of data extraction and writing queries and reports Attention to detail and accuracy Technologically proficient with Siriusware, Luminate, Raiser's Edge and/or Tessitura preferred Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office tools Comfortable with exploring and learning new technologies ```{=html} ``` - Strong analytical problem-solving skills ```{=html} ``` - Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and to interact well with all levels of staff - Experience in a fundraising and/or membership organization is an advantage ?PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Work is primarily sedentary in nature; no special demands are required. Principal Accountabilities Monitors and maintains the overall architecture of CRM systems for the Development teams. Monitors and maintains system health, security, accuracy, and performance of the database. Works collaboratively across teams to standardize data, resolve data conflicts, and ensure consistent naming conventions. Consistently monitors the database and performs quality checks to detect and correct data hygiene issues or issues with constituent records. Gathers and generates data, lists and reports for a wide range of communication, solicitation, and reporting needs. Creates and runs system imports to efficiently update constituent records and effectively move information across multiple systems. Defines and executes procedures for testing and implementing new processes in the database environment. Works in tandem with Senior Manager, Data Systems and Senior Director, Development Operations & Finance and other staff to draft and test policies and procedures related to data secur ty and integrity. Monitors data entry procedures across all connecting teams and four distinct museums via query, export, reporting and other mechanisms to ensure data integrity. Drafts training documentation and guidelines for database users and provides regular training to all development staff; leads database training for new hires, as well as ongoing training as policies are developed. Collaborates with the IT team around data migration, merging Raiser's Edge data with Siriusware data, planning the logical structure of the database, implementing cohesive business processes in Tessitura, and system maintenance. Provides expertise on database best practices and works to ensure system continues to meet and exceed those standards/practices. As part of Tessitura implementation: assisting, advising, recording and setting up new system structures, particularly for complex membership and fundraising data, and for financial processes and reporting. Other duties as assigned.
