Shift: M-F (1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm) / 1 week per month On Call. Compensation: $45.00/hr - $54.00/hr Position Summary The MRT (Mobile Response Team) Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports to the MRT A&P Supervisor and is responsible for traveling to customer aircraft to perform the efficient execution of the work scope and for the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations performed under the authority of the Clay Lacy FAA Certificated Repair Station. Travel may include but not limited to air travel, driving company vehicles extended distances, domestic/international travel. Travel could also be during odd hours outside of normal business hours. Travel for this position is estimated to be approx. 25%-75% of total hours worked. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, modifications, and service on a variety of customer aircraft with minimal supervision. Required to travel extensively within region and occasionally outside of region to customer aircraft for maintenance events and for technical training. Must be available to work different shifts and weekends as requested to support customer needs. Perform and document all completed work in accordance with current technical data and company policy. Frequent interaction with customers will be required. A dhere to all company, FAA and OSHA regulated policies and procedures. M a i ntain an outstanding attendance record. A dhere and promote the Clay Lacy Vision, Mission and Values daily. M a i ntain proficiency with tools, techniques and acceptable practices used to perform aircraft maintenance. E nsure material has been properly received prior to installation on aircraft. V erify material shelf life has not expired prior to use. V erify calibrated tooling calibration due date and condition prior to use. P r omote an efficient and professional work environment. P articipates in Continuous Improvement projects as directed. P erform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education A & P Certificate required. Experience M i nimum of 3 years of experience. Skills and Abilities Basic knowledge of aircraft drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams. Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and external parties. Ability to identify discrepancies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A bility to prioritize and organize workflow. D emonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills. A ble to take initiative and execute assigned tasks in a timely and flawless manner. S tr ong teamwork acumen with a profound ability to work under extreme pressure. Must be willing to work in confined spaces, heights and in non-environmentally controlled conditions.
