Technical Field ClerkFusco Personnel is actively recruiting for Technical Field Clerks to join our client in the construction and engineering industry. Our client services a variety of markets including transportation, water/wastewater, power, oil, gas and chemical, building and mining.This is a full-time, contract-hire opportunity to join a well-respected organization driven by providing learning and growth opportunities within the construction industry The ideal candidate will assist the Field Engineers with various project related tasks.ResponsibilitiesAssist engineers to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the customer, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use Participate in the preparation of purchase orders and subcontracts, performing minor solicitations and purchasing as requested Schedule maintenance and performing updates as directed by others Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs), and memorandums Enter data into the job cost system and participate in reviewing cost reports with jobsite management Assist in generating change orders and as-built data to be reviewed by the Project Manager Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations Qualifications0-1 years of related professional experience in the construction field preferredA bachelor's or associate's degree strongly preferredWorking knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communications skillsGood attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepanciesStrong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job doneAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamReliable transportation to and from workMust have a valid Driver's LicenseAbility to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environmentPosition DetailsPosition Location: oHudson Falls, NY 12839 or oSaratoga Springs, NY 12866.oAthens, NY 12015 oroSchenectady, NY 12306.Position Type: Contract-to-hire Work Schedule M-F, 7AM-5PM (hours will vary based on work), opportunity for overtimeSalary$25.00 -$30.00/hr based on experience and qualifications.Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
