Job Details Description B.L. Harbert International is seeking a Security Coordinator for the International Group located in Birmingham, Alabama. Candidate will report directly to the Facility Security Officer. Responsibilities: Manage administrative activity related to security clearances for employees, including all Security and Security related training Uphold strict document handling, control, and tracking procedures Request Subcontract DD254s Review and track, monitor, and distribute all contract DD254s Assist in performing self-inspections as required by the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Assist the FSO in developing Security Briefings and other Security Training material Monitor, track, and manage National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) accounts, among others Process VARs and ECCs Prepare, issue and maintain the distribution of employee/visitor ID badges for BLHI Campus Buildings Other duties as assigned by Facility Security Officer Requirements: U.S. Citizen Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the US Government Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate and work on a team Preferences: Government related experience (US Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, Department of Defense, Department of State) Experience with DISS, personnel clearance processing, database functions including e-QIP and SWFT Physical Demands: To perform the duties of this job, the employee must: Have the ability to repetitively use hands to grasp, reach above and below with arms, and work overhead Have the ability to stoop, bend, walk, kneel, crouch and crawl Have the ability to lift, carry and/or move up to 25 lbs. of weight in the form of paper, boxes, files, etc. Have the ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing required Possess the manual dexterity to operate office equipment, filing, and perform specialized skills Possess a high degree of concentration necessary in a busy office environment Work Environment: To perform the duties of this job, the employee Must be able to work in an office environment Must have flexibility with hours in order to better accommodate business needs B.L.
