Alaant is thrilled to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region in the search for their next CEO, a key leadership role within this impactful non-profit organization. The CEO is a visionary leader responsible for guiding BBBSCR toward its mission of empowering and supporting youth. Working in close partnership with the Board of Directors, agency leadership, key stakeholders, and community partners, the CEO ensures that the organization's strategic vision is executed effectively across all facets of the organization. This dynamic role encompasses oversight of BBBSCR's fundraising, development, marketing, communications, human resources, operations, and financial management, ensuring that each area aligns with the agency's objectives and long-term goals. The CEO serves as the principal liaison between the Board of Directors and the organization, ensuring that leadership and management practices consistently align with BBBSCR's mission to make a lasting impact in the community. Benefits for the CEO- Non-Profit BBBSCR: The salary range is between $90,000 - $120,000. Hybrid work schedule and company paid parking Medical, Dental, and Vision 401-K- employer match Responsibilities for the CEO- Non-Profit BBBSCR role: Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Board of Directors and executive team to establish the organization's strategic vision, set long-term goals, and develop actionable plans to drive success. Act as a key ambassador for BBBSCR, representing the organization to external partners, donors, government officials, and the public. Deliver regular updates and comprehensive reports on operational progress, financial status, and strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors and internal stakeholders. Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of BBBSCR's various divisions, ensuring effective implementation of operational strategies across the organization. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting cross-functional communication and unity among internal teams. Lead and manage staff, making key employment and staffing decisions in alignment with budgetary guidelines and strategic objectives. Financial Stewardship: Ensure the financial health of BBBSCR by managing its financial structure, identifying opportunities for sustainable funding, and ensuring resources are aligned with the mission. Oversee fundraising efforts, working to secure resources that support BBBSCR's programming and growth. Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all organizational practices adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to review and update policies and ensure organizational compliance with best practices in non-profit management. Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead and manage the organization's leadership team across all divisions. Direct teams toward achieving BBBSCR's mission, goals, and objectives. Oversee staffing decisions in accordance with the budget approved by the Board of Directors. Requirements for the CEO- Non-Profit BBBSCR role: Proven success in a senior leadership role, preferably with a non-profit organization. Demonstrated experience in fundraising, resource development, and building community partnerships. Experience in collaborating with a Board of Directors along with external partners. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills with the ability to oversee multiple areas of business operations. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of stakeholders. Strong financial acumen and deep understanding of management best practices across non-profit and business operations. Must be able to attend community events and hold a valid driver's license.
