If so, then this is the position for you' COME WORK WITH US while we help build a world in which individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages realize their full potential. $500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days) Position: Employment Coordinator ( Human Services) Full-Time Location: Medford , MA Rate of Pay: $19.55 per hour; Plus $40 bi-weekly stipend for second language Hours: 40 Hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Flexible Hybrid Schedule Options Summary: Be part of a creative supportive team to help people with disabilities secure and sustain community based employment Participate in a progressive team approach working closely with State funding sources to include MassAbility and the Department of Developmental Services. Case manage and develop employment relationships between the people you support and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Provide individualized supports to assist people with employment skills to include; resume writing, interview skills, travel training and job etiquette. Responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, job coaching and customer relations with employer. 'Candidates with experience in human services, job coaching, residential care, direct care, and career counseling experience are strongly encouraged to apply; and Bi- Lingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply' Qualifications: High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1-2 years related experience OR Associate's degree plus 1 year related experience and/or training. One year of human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. Requirements: Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
