Company DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB DETAILSBase pay: $26.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential3rd Shift 10:30 PM - 8:00 AMDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis position is a key role that uses problem-solving tools and lean principlesLead approximately 20 direct reportsLeading the day-to-day operations of production employees ensuring that motivation and performance levels are sustainedAct as a strategic business partner with leaders by providing relevant performance feedback to maintain and improve business resultsLead and effectively communicate/participate at daily Tier I/Front Line Management meetings (stand-up)Provide feedback, coaching, training, conflict resolution, and conducts audits (standard work, quality, safety, training matrix). Establish and manage Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) metricsFollows and enforces all safety procedures according to standards. Is proactive on safety concerns and takes action when appropriateIdentifies process constraints and incorporates appropriate decision making and problem-solving techniquesMaintain Tier I/Front Line Management visual management tools (PVA, run charts, focus boards, and other tools) to drive continuous improvementLead continuous improvement activities through effective partnership/collaboration with other departments and employeesParticipate in projects, Kaizens, & other continuous improvement actionsParticipate in problem solving using tools and methodology (5 Why, PDCA, MCA, CAPA, focus boards)QualificationsHigh school graduates with 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience is requiredAssociate's/ Bachelor's degree in any of the following: business, operations, industrial/mechanical/manufacturing/process engineering, or supply chain preferredStrong skills in the areas of communication (written/verbal), time management, and problem solvingAbility to learn product, process and equipmentAbility to lean, train, coach and motivate production employeesAbility to make sound decisions and delegate appropriatelyWorking knowledge of computer systems - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Mechanical skills plus, but not required.
