Join our team and become part of the journey in making our patients and customers the highest priority.Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:Provide customer service and laboratory related communication regarding specimen submission and reporting of results to healthcare providers and external customers, as well as, support all internal operations.PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIESDuties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:Answers calls from internal and external clients and patients regarding any laboratory related issues.Serve as a resource to clients regarding test requirements, specimen submission and other laboratory policies and proceduresReport laboratory results using established protocolsIdentify, research, and resolve customer issues utilizing appropriate staff and resources to ensure client satisfactionPlace client supply ordersFollows up with clients on consent forms, failed faxes and work all outgoing queuesUnderstands the importance of Quality Service and how it is measuredUnder general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills.Performs functions that require full knowledge of general aspects of the job.Embrace and utilize the Customer Service Excellence tools and techniquesAssists with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:HS degree or equivalentSome college classes preferredEXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:1-2 years of relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
