This is a job for aImport Export Analyst position with a company located in Southaven, MS. Job Summary: Import Export Analysts must ensure the smooth flow of goods and compliance with customs , OEA and CTPAT regulations; coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and communicating with various stakeholders to optimize the import/export operation. Import/Export Analysts are responsible for arranging communications and shipments between a sales group and its customers and are employed by a variety of companies which distribute products. They may work either independently or on teams within their company's shipping department, as well. Responsibilities & Duties: Import Export Analysts must ensure the smooth flow of goods and compliance with customs , OEA and CTPAT regulations; coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and communicating with various stakeholders to optimize the import/export operation. Primary Responsibilities: Customs and logistics operations: Manage the import and export process by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Prepare and review shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bill of lading, customs declarations, technical data sheet and others. Coordinate with FFWDS/Carriers to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays, taking care of loads and cost optimizations (%of saturations/Unitary cost). Ensure compliance with import-export laws and regulations by staying updated on changes in customs requirements and assisting with customs clearance procedures. Assist in the preparation of import and export documentation for audits (OEA, CTPAT, SOX, ISO) and compliance checks. Maintain accurate 'Record Keeping' of import and export transactions, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations (HTS codes, country of origin, Taxes). Collaborate with S&OP teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers &/o warehouses, and support if any expedition is required. Monitor with S&OP monthly/yearly volume forecast to monitor the share and support with data in the annual GOB process. Coordinate with suppliers & CASS team to ensure accurate and timely payment of import/export duties, taxes, freight charges, warehouses expenses and others and to calculate properly the monthly accrual. Assist in follow up claims process with logistics suppliers. Assist in the ICS registration and implementations. Make sure all extra freights goes through proper approval processes and registration Support the Customs & Logistics Manager in analyzing market trends, identifying potential suppliers or new operational flows/ projects , and developing strategies to optimize delivery/sales targets and cost reductions. Trade compliance (CTPAT Program) : Responsible for the C TPAT Supply Chain Security Certification for Southaven location Creation and leadership of the CTPAT committee Monthly meetings to follow-up the compliance of CTPAT activities. Management of Annual CTPAT internal and external audits in Southaven. Annual CTPAT trainings (General and specific trainings). Bi-annual update of CTPAT Risk Assessment for Southaven location. Identification of vulnerable conditions during the operation for CTPAT Program. Creation and or audit of CTPAT Procedures. Responsible for the budget and cost centers of Trade Compliance and CTPAT. Audit for in house suppliers related with CTPAT activities such as security etc. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in import-export operations, logistics, or a relevant role. Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs clearance procedures in USA. Familia ity with international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, Bill of landings etc. Strong understanding of INCOTERMS. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, especially if working with international suppliers or customers in China, Brazil, Italia & Mexico.
