Job Description: Job Details: This position will be responsible for general housekeeping, loading and unloading trucks, driving a company vehicle to pick-up parts, and supplies, pick-up drivers at farms as needed, assist in feed mill maintenance as necessary and other duties as assigned. Must be willing to lift and handle 50 - 55 lb. bagged ingredients as required. The handling of 2,000 lb. pallets with manual pallet jack and the use of a two-wheel dolly. Must be able to use a shovel as required to clear/clean spills. Must be able to bend, stoop and frequently climb vertical ladders 25 -50'. Must be able to perform other housekeeping tasks as required such as sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Must be able to record and maintain all required data as directed. Must follow all Tyson Foods policies to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines. Must be willing to work in inclement conditions; hot, cold, dusty, and/or wet environment. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. Schedule:Mon - Friday 7 am to 3 pm. Flexible scheduling required as workdays/hours may change in the future. Starting pay rate:$16.15/hour + $25.00/ weekly attendance offered Ability to Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed Help and assist with ingredients unloading activities like unloading of rail car/trucks Ability to clean up feed spills Ability to perform ground keeping duties including using landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers. Ability to use and maintain air driver equipment like blow guns to assist in cleaning activities Ability to use high pressure water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill Ability to use PIT to move pallets of ingredients Must wear required PPE ear protection Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines i ncluding an agreement to avoid any avian species Maintain good housekeeping including service areas Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. The facility accepts rehires after 180-days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
