Job TitleSenior Director, Head of TradingJob DescriptionSenior Director, Head of Trading The Head of Trading will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the media trading function within our D/Cipher team. This role will oversee strategic planning, execution, and optimization of media trading activities across various channels including digital, audio, video and CTV. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the media landscape, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering successful trading outcomes on behalf of brand advertisers and agency partners. They will be a leader responsible for successfully building and scaling this organization to meet the needs of the market.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the overall media trading strategy, aligning with client goals and helping clients stay competitive in achieving their objectives leveraging cookieless targeting and measurement.Lead and mentor a team of media traders, analytics and yield, and client partnerships professionals, while still contributing to larger client and agency objectives, exemplifying the player-coach positionOversee the execution of media buying across various channels, ensuring cost efficiency, optimal reach, and alignment with client campaigns.Understand margin drivers and how to increase adoption across the business where it makes sense for clientsUtilize data analytics to monitor trading performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance trading strategies.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.Build the reporting offering for clients to understand their campaign performance and business objectives on a regular basis, emphasizing performance and helping to drive renewals.Be a cross-functional partner, working across multiple teams, including Sales Leadership, Account Strategy, Product, Operations and Ad Tech Partnerships Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating new tools and approaches to improve trading efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure all trading activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in media trading, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a managed service or agency prehensive understanding of the digital marketplace, and broader understanding of the US media marketplace as a whole. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
