Job TitleAssociate Director, SEO StrategyJob DescriptionAbout the Role:As the Associate Director of SEO Strategy for Dotdash Meredith, you will be a key member of our Growth & Content Strategy Team. Tasked with reshaping the future of publishing, you will ideate and execute cutting-edge and holistic growth programs focused on our transactional business. Reporting to the VP of Growth and Content Strategy, your work will drive audience growth on premium sites across Dotdash Meredith brands such as AllRecipes, Food & Wine, Serious Eats, Travel & Leisure, and more.About Your Contributions:Drive editorial commerce strategyStudy search demand to identify growth opportunities for our content and productAnalyze revenue and make both editorial and data-driven decisions based on your knowledgeCraft and execute SEO tests to grow our knowledge of effective tacticsLead SEO commerce strategy empowering editorial teams to make smarter daily execution decision, including topic selection, style/formatting, content organization, and infusing data-driven user-first improvements into the content productionDevelop and maintain best practices across brands and how they relate to commerceCommunicate effectively with the editorial team, product, revenue, testing, and all stakeholders across the organizationAbout you:5+ years of SEO experience, preferably in-house at a large publisher or from an enterprise-level digital consulting agencyTrack record of delivering (and communicating about) business results from SEO investmentsExceptional Excel skills (are you the go-to Excel person on your team?)Experience analyzing large data sets generated from multiple sources, including Web analytics, site crawls (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl), and large third-party SEO databasesStrong Web-development fluency-must be able to write precise technical SEO requirementsFamiliarity with search analytics tools (rank tracking, Google Analytics, GSC)Experience in commerce and affiliate industryStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience scaling copy and editorial operations in a high-growth environmentIt is the policy of Dotdash Meredith to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
