Job Summary Major goalsThe Manager of Digital Media Analytics' core responsibilities are data analytics & storytelling, focused on but not limited to in-flight & post-sale digital campaigns. These data stories often are woven by analyzing raw reporting into insights & recommendations, within the context of driving revenue retention and growth. A strong campaign analytics manager can dive into ad performance, measurement, site & general market data across all phases of a campaign's lifecycle to discover effective, actionable learnings.Being able to manipulate raw data in Excel or other data visualization tools in discovering said learnings/recommendations is a critical skill of this role, but just as important is the ability to present these findings in clear, digestible formats to both internal & external clients.This position sits on a centralized team but will be supporting the digital business through a verticalized approach - acting as subject matter expert across DotDash Meredith's Finance advertising vertical. This will require the candidate to work collaboratively across a matrixed organization, applying their knowledge of digital media analytics as both analyst & consult. They will be an advocate of the media learnings generated by this team for internal & external audiences. This includes acting as lead campaign analytics support across the Finance vertical's high priority accounts.They will also manage & mentor their direct reports on how to solve reporting, insights & strategy initiatives across their own book of business.II. Essential Job FunctionsAccountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results60%Finance Campaign AnalyticsLead analytics strategy in their own DotDash Meredith vertical, working with sales & account strategy leadership in creating thoughtful client deliverables using performance, measurement or any other relevant data on insight discovery, upsells, and packaging - with particular focus on high touch, high priority accountsDefine analytic & reporting capabilities across media products to internal/external clients + devise insight solutions and bring them to marketLearn + work with multiple data sources/platforms used by DotDash Meredith and our clientsPotentially manage one or more direct reports, being responsible for all reporting, insights and analytical solutions coming from this analyst & their verticalCollaborate with our analytics team in Bangalore to scale larger data analysis initiatives20Êse Studies + Ad Hoc AnalysisDevelop Finance sub-category, ad product based, and advertiser objective case studies to communicate DotDash Meredith's insights to current and potential clients to positively impact revenue retention & growthAct as subject matter expert on a set of sales verticals & ad products within said verticalCreate internal-facing case studies & thought leadership, whose intended audience can range from sales to other analytic leadsFilter research, site & other data findings and convert to actionable media insights in a well-packaged deliverableSupport internal content strategy teams with campaign performance analysis to facilitate data-driven content creation20%Team ManagementPartner with team management across other verticals to drive the vision and future roadmap of the wider departmentAct as first point of escalation in solving client & business issues in direct report's verticalsLead vertical specific analytics projects from development to executionIdeate and execute on ways the entire campaign analytics team can positively impact new revenue with current and future clientsAssist in balancing team deadlines and longer lead projects, working closely with other Managers on the teamHelp foster team collaboration and communication100%III. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
