A Data Senior Analyst is proficient at using reporting, analytics, statistical and data transformation tools to produce robust conclusions from data resources. They are skilled at designing an analysis in response to customer needs, and then producing and delivering that analysis. This person must be able to work independently as the analytics resource for internal stakeholders. The Data Senior Analyst also serves as a technical lead within an analytics team. They should feel comfortable consulting with teammates on technical problems and helping teach new skills when necessary. A strong candidate will also have experience leveraging data mining and machine learning algorithms to extend or enhance an analysis. This position is currently remote and will convert to hybrid requiring 2 days/wk in the office in the future. Candidates must reside within the same state as this posting. PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Design analytics solutions in response to business or stakeholder needs and own construction and delivery of that solution Serve as technical resource for analytics teammates, helping solve challenging problems and sharing knowledge with teammates Occasionally produce light data mining, data science and machine learning deliverables Perform detailed analysis of data and present findings to internal customers through a variety of tools and platforms Use statistics to quantify the strength of observed effects in an analysis Build and maintain data pipelines, data assets, dashboards and reports Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years experience in a related field 4+ years experience in an analytics or data science role Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Domo, Power BI and/or other dashboard development and analysis tools is required in order to create actionable insights Experience with statistical hypothesis testing techniques required Experience building and maintaining data automation processes required Experience with some variant of SQL required Experience with R or Python required Experience with machine learning or data mining techniques preferred Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements. Preferred: Preferred Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or similar Power BI strongly preferred What's In It For You?
