Assistant Manager - College Experience Albany, NY ( Residential Job Type Full-time Description Living Resources is a non-profit human services agency. The College Experience, which takes place at the College of St. Rose in conjunction with Living Resources, offers young adults with intellectual disabilities the chance to take classes and make friends in a safe residential setting, and then transition to work and an independent life. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the Educational Assistants working in the College Experience residences while providing care to the people we support. In collaboration with the Residential Coordinator and Assistant Residential Director, he/she acts as a positive role model for the individuals we support and co-workers to ensure the quality service delivered meets the needs of the individual. The Assistant Manager works directly with the RN on all aspects related to medical care. He/she oversees staff scheduling, organizes medical appointments and fills residential shifts as needed. Full-time hours: 35 - 40/hours per week Shift: Evening hours, Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm Requirements All candidates with significant history working with the developmentally disabled population will be considered, college degree preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. NYS Driver's license is required.
