TITLE: Supervisor for Instructional Technology and School ImprovementLOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES Watertown Campus (occasional travel to component districts and Howard G Sacket campus)RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Provide support and training to instructional staff on various platforms including Webex, Google Suite, Canvas, and Edmentum to enhance efficiency and engagement. Develop and deliver engaging and informative workshops tailored to the needs of educators, support staff, and component districts.Click here for a complete job description.QUALIFICATIONS:New York State Certification as a School Building Leader, School Administrator/Supervisor, School District Administrator or School District LeaderMasters degree in Instructional Technology, Education or a related field preferredExperience as an instructional leader through state and /or federal educational reform initiatives.Proven experience with Webex, Google Suite, Canvas, and Edmentum. Strong understanding of instructional design and technology integration in educational settings and supporting the integration of the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and deliver professional development workshops. Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technology issues efficiently. Familiarity with state education requirements and documentation processes. Experience with writing or willingness to explore grant opportunitiesCOMPENSATION: Salary starting at $82,000. This is a 12-month position. Salary commensurate with experience and certification held in keeping with the current agreement.
