Director of Fabrication

Position Summary: The working supervisor of Fabrication will lead the production of high-quality client displays and custom fixtures, with a primary focus on wood picture frames. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in fabrication processes, and a commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the fabrication team to ensure efficient production of displays and fixtures, maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Develop and implement production processes, including finishing operations such as cutting, installing grommets, laminating, and mounting printed jobs. Ensure the maintenance and proper operation of all fabrication equipment, establishing regular cleaning and maintenance schedules. Manage inventory levels and organize fabrication supplies to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless execution of projects and timely delivery to clients. Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement Qualifications: Extensive experience in woodworking, finish carpentry, or sign/display fabrication, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout all projects. Proficient in the use of fabrication tools and machinery, including routers, jig saws, table saws, hinge machines, and hand tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
