Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treat DESCRIPTION Michael Baker International is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in a high energy and fast pace team. As a part of our Water team, Production Manager coordinates delivery of all FEMA Regional Task Orders (RTOs); which are primarily for engineering flood study preparation through preliminary issuances. Ensures consistent delivery as well as oversight for schedule, cost, and quality. We are searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model among peers, that are people and client-focused, and those that seek to be impactful and decisive and can accomplish the following. Monthly meeting with RTO Task Order Managers (TOMs). Includes overall direction/ guidance from Joint Venture (JV) leadership, highlights of recent changes or areas of focus from FEMA/Risk MAP and round-robin with TOMs including discussion of challenge and accomplishment per RTO (w/ sharing of best practices when appropriate). Includes quality manager and change manager with discussion from each (quality moment/topic, quick status on any outstanding or future planned Change Requests). Usually held late Monthly one-on-one with each RTO TOM to review project(s) status including cost and schedule. Review of Monthly Progress Report (MPR)/F4 schedule. Discussion of any issues. Check of MIP vs. JV EV metrics (do they tell the same story). Usually held late first/early second week of month, once final end-of-month financials are available and TOM has completed draft EV repo Conducts review of all RTO MPRs following draft by TOM. Interfaces with JV PMO for needed reporting, etc. Interfaces with JV development team. Engages with FEMA COR through monthly calls with the JV Program Manager. Updates MIP status to ensure that MIP tasks are updated at least every 30 days. Exploring and developing workflows for engineering studies MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineer, or equivalent work experience; and at least 15 years of related experience in surface water or related field. Fundamental understanding of FEMA RiskMAP studies Strong attention to detail. Ownership and accountability for quality deliverables Ability to be flexible and have self-initiative Must possess a valid Driver's License PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one. Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as ArcMap, and Hydrologic/Hydraulic models like HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS) Experience in 1D and 2D and hydraulic modeling Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills Strong understanding of statistics and uncertainty Experience and interest in innovation and automation COMPENSATION
