Description As the first point of contact for our customers, the Customer Service Representative is critical to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust's success. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and engaging environment, consider our current, 40 hours per week opening for a Customer Service Representative in our Heater Road, Lebanon, New Hampshire branch In a Customer Service Representative role, you can expect to: Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and contribute toward the success of the company by recommending additional products and services. Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank. Gain an understanding of the banking industry and begin to contribute toward meeting branch goals in a variety of categories, including deposits and loans. Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve. Be an active participant in, and advocate for, community growth and prosperity. Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries. This role focuses on obtaining general banking knowledge and mastering routine transactions, to include account opening. An interest and experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows are essential for this position.
