Summary Under moderate supervision, performs operations identified in Cellar Tech - 1 description. Participates in cellar production as assigned, as well as the care, problem identification and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. Adheres to all safety procedures, support quality and GMP standards. What You Will Do: Under moderate supervision performs duties of Cellar Tech 1. Additionally, provide problem solving for machine centers and operate four additional designated cellar machine centers. Basic knowledge and data entry into wine inventory data base. Safely and efficiently operate all assigned pieces of equipment to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities. Ability to keep work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant. Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area. Responsible for routine production reporting and quality checks. Must be able to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks. Responsible for compliance with E & J Gallo Winery sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable and environmentally sound. This is done by supporting programs at each location for conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling, which are critical for our operations to achieve tangible environmental results. Demonstrates situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor. Demonstrates a sense of urgency for Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Communicates effectively with team members, leadership and other departments. Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A What You Will Need: High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years experience in wine production or manufacturing. Forklift certification and operation as needed. Required to wear a respirator when necessary. Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Required to work at heights and in small areas. Required to comply with company GMP policies. Skilled in writing simple correspondence. Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation: Hiring Salary Range Posted: $21.95-29.65 per hour Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
