Weston & Sampson is looking for a Project Manager who is a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) or on the LSP track to join our growing Environmental group, consisting of over 50 staff including seven LSPs. An ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience with assessment and remediation of Massachusetts Disposal Sites in accordance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP). The Ideal candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to the assessment and remediation of oil and/ or hazardous material and experience working with public, municipal, and private clients. Strong writing and interpersonal skills are required. This position can be based in any of our New England offices but Reading or Foxborough, MA are preferred. Periodic local travel, site visits and in person meetings will be required. Weston & Sampson utilizes a hybrid work environment to foster both collaboration and flexibility for employees. What you'll do: Utilize extensive knowledge of the MCP and working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations pertaining to the assessment and remediation of the oil and/or hazardous material for public, municipal and private clients Utilize knowledge of ASTM Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to oversee site evaluation What you will bring: Professional registration as a Massachusetts LSP or LSP track with MCP experience required. Additional certifications such as, PE, PG, LEP, and LSRP a plus Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. 8 years of experience including subsurface investigations, construction oversight, report preparation, review, and certification Current OSHA 10 and 40 certification Experience and ability to conduct business and/or client development preferred.
