Summary Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Warehouse Lead, to join their team due to continued growth. The role involves leading the warehouse team, overseeing daily operations with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Company Goals: Align with company vision and values to achieve branch and company objectives. Daily Operations: Support and complete all warehouse tasks, ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Inventory Management: Oversee accurate issuance, receipt, movement, and labeling of inventory. Team Leadership: Train new members, prioritize tasks, answer questions, and identify improvement opportunities. Coaching: Provide guidance and support to team members. Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and collaborate with other departments. Organization:Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas. Maintenance: Perform daily forklift maintenance and annual physical inventory. Safety: Follow and report safety regulations and concerns. Miscellaneous: Complete additional projects and duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Prior warehouse or parts experience, with inventory control and management background. Knowledge: Familiarity with trucks and equipment is preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Leadership: Strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Environment Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Independence: Self-sufficient and capable of working with minimal supervision. Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Performance Monitoring: Ability to assess performance and implement improvements. Working Conditions Schedule: Regular 8-hour shifts from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with additional hours as needed. Environment: Work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various environmental conditions. Safety Gear: Required to wear safety shoes, and safety glasses may be needed. Equipment: Use of carts, forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment. Physical Requirements Vision: Ability to see close objects, with or without corrective lenses. Mobility: Ability to stand and walk on concrete and uneven surfaces for 8 hours. Lifting: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting of 60-100 lbs. Physical Activity: Includes climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, and crawling.
