A Day in Your Life at MKS: As the First Shift Production Technician, you will be responsible for the process of making diffraction gratings, reporting to the Senior Team Lead You Will Make an Impact By: This role may be located on either of the below teams listed (Coating, Cementing, Take Apart, Layout/Inspection, or Testing). The Production Technician I will be responsible to handle a variety of sizes and weights of our products and requires good dexterity and eye hand coordination. Quality, precision and ability to follow work instructions are a must. Ability to use a computer and MS office is required. Inspect optics to ensure customer specifications are met Accurately complete required documentation for each job processed Learn to recognize part defects Skills You Bring: A successful Production Technician is a problem-solver and analytical thinker. They have exceptional attention to detail and a passion for producing quality, dependable work. In addition to these general skills and personality traits, this position requires A minimum of one-year experience in a production environment An AA degree, vocational training or military technical training preferred but not required Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments Attention to detail and quality, ability to check and identify defects Ability to read and carefully follow work instructions are a must Able to lift 30+lbs several times a day #LI-AS1 Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $19-20hr is range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
