Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.This is a position with global grade13This position reports toRegional Business Blending Line ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesSells products, systems and services to end users and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC's) bundling, Modular Skids Engineered Packages including Mechanical, Electrical Instruments and Automation Systems with a focus on reaching profitability targets for BL BlendingEstablishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB's complete product, systems and services offering and aligns with them to provide a solutionEnsures a positive customer experience throughout the sales processPrepares sales plans using ABB authorized toolsPerforms regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans in case of any potential order shortfallsCreates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniquesCommunicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions in line with ABB's offering and strategyEnsures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customersIdentifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated marketManages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities when neededPrepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and or the Marketing ManagerEnsures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place including prices and trading conditionsQualifications for the roleBachelors in Engineering preferred or related technical field with minimum eight (8) years of experience including a minimum of 4 years in blending and formulation systems, preferably in the Paints and Adhesives market.3 plus years of experience in Account management, business development and adoption, sales enablement within direct sales and/or sales management Proven customer experience success Experience of engagement with paint, resins, adhesives, lubricant and grease customers.
