NO SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with our client. Description Summary: Candidates shall be problem-solvers, organized, effective communicators and motivated to help promote company's product and service offerings with our clients. The primary role is to provide on-site technical assistance to customers in a variety of industries and environments. Additional roles will include pre-design inspections and measurements, pre-installation planning and preparation, post-installation commissioning of solutions and on-going preventive maintenance and review as outlined in customer's contract. Primary Duties: Schedule planning and inspection meetings to meet the company's and customer's objectives Install, commission, and verify performance of company products and solutions at the customer's site Troubleshoot existing equipment to ensure proper operation and customer satisfaction Provide customer onsite training and support Perform preventative maintenance on systems per the service agreement Provide feedback to the company engineering and sales management regarding actions taken on each customer visit to ensure quality assurance and improvement initiatives are being met Assist with new bid installation, drawing, and measurement project reviews Assist sales and application engineering with approval process or revisions as needed Coordinate inventory and orders for spare parts and products with company sales coordinators as needed Provide technical support to customers over the phone and via email/chat when travelling and/or in the office Participate in joint sales calls with account managers or application engineers as requested Provide RMA or Customer Feedback reports for issues found in the field Maintain clean and safe environments for company associate, customers, and other contractors when on-site Follow and maintain all safety and documentation requirements when on customer's sites Basic Skills Required Two or more years of experience Experience related to electrical heating products and temperature controllers is preferred Must be a self-starter and can be effective with little or no supervision Experience with measurement tools, multimeters and small hand/power tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics Strong ability to utilize Word, Excel, and other PC tools Strong familiarity with quality and technical testing tools such as digital multimeters, temperature measuring devices, etc. Excellent and demonstrable verbal and written communications in English Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50 pounds, climbing narrow stairs/ladders or working in tight spaces during some technical work such as measuring gas piping systems and other customer structures Education: A High School Diploma required Associate degree in science or construction related field desired, or related military experience Equal opportunities and Social Governance WGNSTAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
